Custom Mirrors
Custom mirrors for South Florida homes: lit vanity mirrors sized to the counter, full-length closet and dressing mirrors, and mirrors planned into a remodel.

Custom mirrors are sized and placed for the room they hang in, which is why we plan them with the vanity or closet beneath them instead of picking one off a shelf. The mirror in the photo is a rectangular lit model over a single-sink vanity: a frosted border glows from inside the glass, a soft halo lights the wall behind it, and touch controls sit near the bottom edge. It spans most of the counter while leaving clear space above the matte black faucet. A mirror like this pairs naturally with a custom bathroom vanity, and the two are easiest to plan together so the width, height and outlet location line up. We also fit mirrors into closets and dressing areas.
Mirrors we can help with
- Lighted vanity mirrors, round or rectangular
- Plain mirrors cut to fit a wall or a vanity width
- Full-length mirrors for a closet, dressing area or bedroom door
- Rotating and wall-mount mirrors from our closet accessories
Planning the details
A lit mirror needs power behind it. If there is no outlet or junction box in the right spot, adding one is electrical work, which typically needs a permit and should happen before tile or paint. Mirror height should suit the people who use it most, and in a shared bathroom, two smaller mirrors over a double vanity can work better than one wide sheet. Bathrooms here stay humid, so ask about moisture-resistant backing and sealed edges for any mirror close to a shower.
Closets and remodels
In a walk-in closet, a full-length mirror on a door, an end panel or a rotating bracket saves a trip to the bathroom while getting dressed. During a bathroom remodeling project, mirrors are planned with the tile layout and lighting so nothing has to move later. To get started, call 954-213-5836 or contact our team.
Frequently asked questions
- What size mirror should go over a vanity?
A common approach is a mirror slightly narrower than the vanity, so its edges line up visually with the cabinet below. Leave space above the faucet and below any wall light. For a double vanity, decide between one wide mirror and a pair of separate ones. We will measure the wall and suggest a size at the consultation.
- Is a lighted mirror worth it?
A lit mirror puts light on your face from the front rather than from overhead, which cuts down on shadows for shaving or makeup. Many models add touch switches and adjustable color temperature, and some include a defogger for steamy mornings. Each one needs a power source at the wall, so plan the outlet or box early.
- Can a heavy mirror hang on a concrete-block wall?
Yes, with the right fasteners. Block construction is common in this part of Florida, and a mirror on a masonry wall needs anchors made for masonry rather than drywall anchors. On a stud wall, a heavy mirror should be fastened into studs or blocking. We check the wall type before any mirror goes up.
