Custom Wall Units
A long, empty wall is one of the easiest places to add storage without giving up floor space. We make custom wall units that run the length of that wall, combining closed cabinets, drawers and display shelving in one continuous piece. Our White Wall Unit is a good example, pairing a lower run of drawers and doors with glass-front display cabinets above. Measurements come first on the home visit, with outlets, windows and doorways noted, and then the unit is laid out in 3D. Try different door styles and handles until it looks right; nothing is final until you approve it. Our in-house team installs the finished piece. - Where does a wall unit work best?
Living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms and home offices all have walls that suit one, but any wall without too many interruptions can work. Your designer will look at the room on the visit and suggest the best spot, then show how the unit sits with your furniture.
- Can a wall unit include lighted glass shelves?
Our accessories include LED glass shelves in 14-inch and 20-inch depths, in matte gold, silver, satin nickel or graphite finishes. They suit display sections for glassware or collections. Your designer can add them to your plan to preview the effect before you decide.
- How is a wall unit installed?
Installation day is the last of four steps, after you contact us, meet for the design consultation, and finalize and order your design. Ask about wall preparation and anything you need to move beforehand; your designer will walk you through both ahead of time.
