- Will the closet still work as my child gets older?
Adjustable hanging rods let you raise the rod as clothes get longer, and adjustable shelves can be reset for new needs. Lower drawers that hold toys today can hold sweaters later. Ask your designer to show how the closet can change over time when you review the plan together.
- Can my child reach everything?
Placing everyday items at a child's height is part of the plan. Your designer will set a lower rod and shelves within reach, with seasonal or spare items higher up. The heights appear in the 3D model and can be adjusted before production, so the closet fits your child today.
- What finishes work for a kids closet?
The closets on this page use a wood grain and white. Other finishes from our colors page are available to consider, and Mixology colors make a two-tone look possible. It helps to choose a finish that will still suit the room in the teenage years, and you can compare a few on screen.
